Saturday, May 30th, 2009The legendary Ferrari Leggenda e Passione event has come to symbolise one of the most prestigious events in the motoring calendar and this year has been no exception.
The event broke all previous records; the pivotal sale being that of a fifty year old used Ferrari for an astonishing nine million euros. The 1957 Ferrari 250 TR set a new world record for the most expensive vehicle to be sold under the hammer. The selling price was almost two million euros over the previous record which former Radio One DJ Chris Evans set back in 2008.

Friday, May 29th, 2009Stefano Domenicali has moved quickly to praise the improvements which have been made to the new Ferrari F60 in the aftermath of the Monaco Grand Prix. The Italian believes that the amount of work which has been put in to the vehicle over the last month alone has reduced their lap times by at least one second.
Ferrari are currently the defending constructor champions and they achieved their best positions of the season so far last week when Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa finished the race in third and fourth positions respectively.

Porsche denies bankruptcy claims
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009Luxury car manufacturers Porsche have acted quickly to dilute rumours that they are on the verge of bankruptcy after it emerged that they had borrowed amounts running in to hundreds of millions of euros from Volkswagen and needed a similar amount to clear other debts.
The new Porsche models which are currently in production are thought to be the saving grace for the Germans and a spokesman for the brand confirmed the fact that the company had secured a loan of EUR 700m from Volkswagen.

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009Numerous patents which have been filed by Ferrari have been leaked out and have elicited widespread interest across the motoring world.
This surrounds a new four wheel drive hybrid system which is thought to be lined up for a new Ferrari model in the near future.

Ferrari continue astonishing turnaround
Tuesday, May 26th, 2009Ferrari built upon their improved form at the Spanish Grand Prix at Monaco last weekend in what may well be the most dramatic turnaround in form ever witnessed within the sport.
