Hamilton to race Mercedes McLaren SLR
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008Very few performance cars would be able to match a McLaren Mercedes SLR on a racetrack, let alone with a driver as accomplished as Lewis Hamilton at the wheel. But at the forthcoming Race of Champions event at Wembley Stadium, Hamilton will compete in a race with a difference as he pits his Mercedes against a bicycle. However the contest is not quite so one-sided at it may sound, with Hamilton’s opponent being multiple world champion and triple Olympic gold medallist Chris Hoy, who will be competing upon his state of the art racing bike. With a tight, twisty
